Kew Gardens £10 Tuesdays: Your Autumn 2026 Visiting Guide
Kew’s £10 Tuesday offer runs until 29 December 2026. Plan an autumn visit with glasshouses, changing leaves and Henry Moore’s outdoor sculptures.
A good London day out can be as simple as choosing a different day of the week. Kew Gardens is offering £10 daytime entry on Tuesdays until 29 December 2026, putting an autumn escape within easier reach if your diary is flexible. Planning ahead this weekend? The next Tuesday to consider is 6 October.
How the £10 Kew Gardens offer works ##
Kew says the Tuesday ticket can be bought online or at the gate. It is a daytime admission offer, with a maximum of 14 tickets per person; it cannot be combined with another offer and does not apply to group bookings. Check the official announcement and choose the appropriate ticket for everyone in your party.
The offer is particularly appealing if you can give the visit some breathing room. Our suggestion is to choose two or three priorities rather than try to cover every corner of the Gardens. Build in time to stop, look and change direction.
A simple autumn route: trees, art and a glasshouse ##
Begin with the trees. Kew recommends the Arboretum and the area around the Treetop Walkway for autumn colour. Maples, sweet gums and ginkgoes bring different shades as the season develops. Colour depends on the weather and timing, so treat photographs as inspiration rather than a promise of what you will see on a particular day.
Add some sculpture. Henry Moore: Monumental Nature is included with Gardens admission and runs until 31 January 2027. Seeing a few works outdoors can give a walk a satisfying rhythm: one destination, a stretch of landscape, then another pause.
Keep an indoor option. The Princess of Wales Conservatory offers a change of scene, while the Shirley Sherwood Gallery provides an art stop if rain arrives. Kew’s autumn guide is the best place to check seasonal highlights before you set off.
What to know before booking ##
Do not include a visit inside Kew Palace in an October itinerary: the published seasonal closing date was 27 September. If you are travelling with younger children later in the month, the Hey Duggee trail is advertised for 17 October–1 November, included with Gardens entry.
Check the day’s opening times and any attraction closures before travel, especially if a particular glasshouse is your main reason for going. Wear shoes suited to a substantial outdoor walk and pack for changeable weather. A dry morning and a wet afternoon can produce very different versions of the same visit.
Is Tuesday the best day for you? ##
If flexibility is the reason you are considering the offer, pick a Tuesday with enough free time to enjoy it. If squeezing it in would mean a rushed journey and a short visit, compare the ticket options for a day that actually works. The bargain is most useful when it helps you have a better outing.
